The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Pocket Community Association will be held in January 2014 at a date, time and location yet to be determined.
Elections will be held at the AGM for the PCA Executive Committee positions for calendar year 2014.
The Board will prepare a slate of candidates who are prepared and qualified to stand for election to the Executive Committee,
In case any resident of the Pocket wishes to be considered for election to the Executive, please take the following actions and send the materials to the PCA Secretary by 30 November 2013,
- Arrange for a PCA member to nominate you and another PCA member to second that nomination,
- Confirm that your PCA membership is up to date. If you need assistance, contact Paul Woodman, Membership Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org
- Prepare a photograph and bio with a maximum of 100 words, which describe your qualifications for a PCA Executive position, and identify the Executive position that you wish. The Executive positions are Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator, Communications Coordinator and two Members-at-Large,
In early December, the PCA will forward bios received to all PCA members.
PCA will assess the bios and prepare a slate of candidates. In case two or more candidates apply for the same Executive position, the membership at the AGM will vote to select the successful candidate for that position,
Please note that nominations for Executive positions will not be accepted after 30 November. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor at the AGM.
