There is a shortage of food at food banks across the city. Please consider contributing some non-perishable food items so that we can make a donation to Eastview Community Centre Food Bank on behalf of The Pocket.
Please drop off items in the bin on the porch at 68 Seymour Ave. from December 1-12.
There is a goal of 400 items for our community food drive.
Here are the most needed items:
•Baby formula & food •Beans & lentils •Canned fruits & vegetables •Canned fish & meat •Cans of soup or hearty stew •Dried pasta & tomato sauce, Macaroni and cheese •Canned, powdered or Tetra Pak cartons of milk •Peanut butter •Rice
