Trees help cool our houses in the summer, diminish the chances of floods during heavy rain, but above all, they contribute to a beautiful, healthy neighbourhood.

As PCA Members will have noticed, the Nominations + Elections team, (Joan Hulbert, Kay Leslie and myself as Secretary), have sent out several notices in preparation for electing the new Executive Committee to serve PCA for 2014. Joan is not a member of the Executive Committee: therefore she brings a balanced and objective community perspective to the nomination and election process.
PCA Membership benefits include:
One of the key indicators for success or failure of any community organization has to do with the quality and keenness of the organization’s leaders. I have seen numerous associations that suffered a failure of leadership and had to disband. When this happens, it is a wasted opportunity and a disservice to the folks who could have benefitted from the association, had it been a success.
