Santa is coming to the Pocket early! Bring your kids and or pets and get your picture taken with the old man. He will be at his "workshop" in Phin Park to spread some cheer. Bring some food/clothing/toy/
Safety Survey Results
The Safety Committee recognized concerns pertaining to illegal activities, traffic and general safety and put together the Pocket Safety Survey, which was circulated to homes back in February 2013. The results indicated to the Safety Committee that issues already of concern within the neighbourhood could be addressed by leveraging liaison relationships with 55 Division, Eastern Commerce School Administration and others.

It's that time of year again! Please consider donating non-perishable food items for families in need using the Pocket Food Drive, an initiative by Pocket resident Kim McFadden. Donations will go to Eastview Neighbourhood Community Centre's food bank on behalf of The Pocket.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Pocket Community Association will be held in January 2014 at a date, time and location yet to be determined.
Elections will be held at the AGM for the PCA Executive Committee positions for calendar year 2014.

To help us improve air quality, Car-Free Day is declared every September across Toronto and around the world. We can reduce our dependency on cars and get to know our neighbours better at the same time.
